Full Lineup for AEW Dynamite Homecoming Tonight (Jan. 1)

Happy New Year to you, good reader. A New Year means new wrestling shows of course because professional wrestling is a business that never stops.

There’s a new episode of AEW Dynamite called Homecoming that takes place tonight at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. It’s the same venue that they used for the AEW Fight for the Fallen event last July. This episode is being called AEW Dynamite Homecoming because AEW was officially announced as a promotion on New Year’s Day in 2019, so it is their one year anniversary as a company. Here’s what is advertised for the show so far:

* The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega vs. Lucha Brothers and Pac

* Cody Rhodes vs. Darby Allin

* Jon Moxley vs. Trent

* AEW Women’s World Championship Match: Riho (c) vs. Britt Baker vs. Nyla Rose vs. Hikaru Shida

* Dustin Rhodes vs. Sammy Guevara

* Will Jon Moxley accept Chris Jericho’s offer to join the Inner Circle?

* MJF appearing live

Speaking of MJF, he had an interesting tweet to celebrate the New Year.

Also, Taz will be on commentary as part of the three-man team with Excalibur and Jim Ross. Tony Schiavone is absent tonight since he’s doing the radio broadcast of the Georgia Bulldogs football game.

I’ll have a review of AEW Dynamite most likely tomorrow morning. I don’t think I’ll have time to get it done tonight.
