The official AEW Revolution match card began following the conclusion of the Revolution Zero Hour, where one title was defended while one changed hands to kick off the night.

Willow Nightingale defended her TBS Championship ahead of her tag team title defense later tonight, while Ricochet was dethroned as the National Champion in the promotion.

The main card began with the AEW World Tag Team Championship on the line as FTR took on their long-term rivals, The Young Bucks. The rivalry between these two teams has been heated over the last few weeks, with things becoming personal between them.

FTR retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships

A brutal and hard-hitting match followed tonight, which saw both Nick Jackson and Dax Harwood sport a crimson mask early into the bout. After attacking their brother in the buildup, FTR took things even further tonight.

They mocked Matt Jackson’s son, who was cheering him on at ringside, which filled the former AEW EVP with more rage and determination to defeat the Living Legends.

They trapped FTR in a double Scorpion Death Lock, but Cash and Dax locked hands with each other to prevent them from tapping. The four wrestlers were then embroiled in a scramble, which ended with a slingshot powerbomb by Dax Harwood for a close two-count on Matt.

Both teams were then involved in a series of near falls, which saw Nick Jackson put up an incredible fight, kicking out of a shatter machine and a spike piledriver to remain in the match.

It was then Dax’s turn to show resilience as he then kicked out of a shatter machine from The Bucks and a Meltzer Driver. This brutal bout ultimately came to an end after FTR hit a Shatter Machine from the top rope on Matt Jackson to retain the belts.
