Female WWE Superstar Makes Personal Confession: “I Had A Girlfriend”
A WWE star has surprised everyone with her comments.
Jade Cargill is one of the top female talents on the sports entertainment juggernaut’s roster. She has won three titles and the Queen of the Ring in 2025 so far.
As for her personal life, Cargill met her husband, former Cincinnati Reds second baseman Brandon Phillips, in 2015, and the rest is history. The couple have a daughter together named Bailey Quinn.
During a TikTok live session, Jade Cargill revealed some interesting tidbits about her real life. The 33-year-old star stated that she had a boyfriend and a girlfriend in high school. The Storm then hilariously admitted she was a “player.”
I had a boyfriend, I had a girlfriend, I had a little bit of everything. In high school, I was a player!

WWE legend heaps praise on Jade Cargill
As mentioned, Jade Cargill is no stranger to winning titles in WWE. Her latest reign was as the WWE Women’s Champion. She held onto the gold for 169 days before dropping it to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 42.
While speaking exclusively with TJR Wrestling last month, WWE icon Mark Henry said he was impressed by Cargill’s stint as champion, as well as with her bout against Ripley at The Show of Shows. Henry also praised Cargill for the way she deals with negativity from a section of the fans.
I did. I thought that she did a great job. She takes a lot of critical, uh, negativity from people because she is still young, and you have to let things play out in wrestling. If you rush it, it’s like drinking hot beer. Maybe you like hot beer, but most of the people that I know, they like it really cold. I’m a guy that chews ice. I love ice, I chew it. Make it sound. It makes some people crazy. But I don’t expect everybody to love that, you know? And that’s the thing that I feel like Jade has been able to do is…she’s been able to mask the sound of ice crushing or going through a window. She’s mastered it. So now we just all got to sit back and watch elite wrestling for the next forseeable future.
Jade Cargill and Rhea Ripley are far from done with each other, judging by the events that have taken place following WrestleMania 42. They will clash once again at the upcoming edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, albeit in a multi-woman match.
Cargill will team up with B-Fab and Michin to take on Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss. Could this lead to another singles clash between The Storm and Mami? Only time will tell.
