“Oh, You Got Me” – Mark Henry On Bianca Belair’s Pregnancy Announcement At WWE WrestleMania 42, Jade Cargill, And More [Exclusive]
WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry recently sat down with TJR Wrestling for an EXCLUSIVE interview!
The World’s Strongest Man is no stranger to the pro wrestling world. Henry has a wealth of experience under his belt, having worked in promotions such as WWE and AEW. While speaking with TJR Wrestling on behalf of BetVictor Online Casino, the veteran addressed a variety of topics, like Bianca Belair’s pregnancy announcement at WrestleMania 42, Jade Cargill’s WWE title run, and more.
So, without further ado, let’s find out what Mark Henry had to say.
Mark Henry on Tony Khan honoring Owen Hart in AEW:
During our conversation, Mark Henry shared his thoughts on Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling partnering with The Owen Hart Foundation to produce the critically acclaimed Owen Hart Foundation Tournament to honor the late legend.
I thought that it was great because his wife, Martha [Hart], was comfortable with that. And it’s really not for a company to be able to portray somebody’s likeness. You have to go with the families, and I think that’s what was done in his case. Martha co-signed for Owen to get honored, and she did that for the fans.
On a potential WWE Hall of Fame induction for Owen Hart:
Mark Henry was asked if he remains hopeful of a WWE Hall of Fame induction for Owen Hart someday. The World’s Strongest Man answered in the affirmative. He also wants to see D’Lo Brown and The Nation of Domination, as a faction, bestowed with the same honor in the future.
Yeah, I am hopeful. Him [Owen Hart] and D’Lo Brown both, and also, The Nation of Domination as a group. There’s tons of people that are deserving. You just have to make the commitment to honoring the specified players in the game.
Mark Henry on Bianca Belair’s pregnancy announcement at WWE WrestleMania 42:
The EST of WWE, Bianca Belair, finally made her grand return at The Show of Shows this year. While Belair didn’t get physical in the ring, she shocked the entire world with another move – a pregnancy announcement. Mark Henry was one of the many who were blindsided by the former women’s champion. He revealed his feelings upon learning about the good news.
I was so…I was like, ‘Oh, you got me,’ because I thought that she was still injured and she was out for her finger. I got the invitation the day after the announcement to the baby shower, and I was like, ‘Son of a gun.’ Normally, I can see through stuff, and because I was blind because she is one of my kids in wrestling, she deceived me. She got me.

Mark Henry on Jade Cargill:
Mark Henry was also asked about Jade Cargill’s WWE Women’s Championship reign, which was ended by Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 42. Henry stated that Cargill did a “great job” as a champion and lauded her for having a successful run despite negativity from a section of the fans.
I did. I thought that she did a great job. She takes a lot of critical, uh, negativity from people because she is still young, and you have to let things play out in wrestling. If you rush it, it’s like drinking hot beer. Maybe you like hot beer, but most of the people that I know, they like it really cold. I’m a guy that chews ice. I love ice, I chew it. Make it sound. It makes some people crazy. But I don’t expect everybody to love that, you know? And that’s the thing that I feel like Jade has been able to do is…she’s been able to mask the sound of ice crushing or going through a window. She’s mastered it. So now we just all got to sit back and watch elite wrestling for the next forseeable future.
