An ex-WWE talent recently stepped up to thwart false accusations targeted at them.

Kayla Braxton, real name Kayla Becker, served as a backstage interviewer during her 8-year stint with the Stamford promotion.

Braxton has also previously served as a ring announcer on Raw, SmackDown, and NXT.

Recently, the 34-year-old claimed that wrestling talent agent Nick LoPiccolo ghosted her after she was released from her WWE contract in 2024.

In doing so, she first revealed that LoPiccolo helped her sign with the Stamford promotion. She then claimed that she helped him sign multiple talents after which he receded from his earlier commitment after she was let go.

Some time later, he responded by by saying that he had taken up the issue with Braxton personally. LoPiccolo also took a jab at AEW and Dave Meltzer in an X post while defending himself.

If that were my reputation, ghosting? you guys wish I would shut my phone off or stop engaging on… everything. That’s like accusing AEW talent of having bad workrate. Or accusing Dave Meltzer of being a journalist. No one would.
