A former WWE champion has shared a positive post-surgery update.

Ridge Holland, real name Luke Menzies, last competed in TNA in a dark match against Moose in late September. Unfortunately, he suffered an injury, resulting in the bout being abruptly stopped.

Menzies revealed that it was a Lisfranc injury. During his injury downtime, he claimed that his earlier issue with his neck had resurfaced and that he would be undergoing neck fusion surgery.

A few days earlier, he was let go by the Stamford promotion days before his contract was set to expire. The decision was due to his accusing the company of abandonment, as he was informed that his contract was not going to be renewed after expiration.

Regardless, while speaking on Busted Open, he revealed that WWE had offered to pay for his neck fusion surgery.

Ridge Holland underwent surgery eight weeks ago, which included a two-level cervical disc replacement.
