Ex-WCW Star Making In-Ring Return For The First Time Since 2006

Having not laced up his boots since 2006, a former WCW Tag Team Champion has been confirmed to be returning to the ring in September.

Lash LeRoux was part of WCW from 1998 until the company shut its doors for good in 2001. During his time there he briefly captured the WCW Tag Team Championship as Corporal Cajun alongside Lt. Loco (Chavo Guerrero) when they were both a part of the Misfits In Action.

LeRoux’s last appearance in WCW came in February 2001 when he unsuccessfully challenged Rick Steiner for the United States Championship on Nitro. LeRoux’s last match of any kind – so far – came back in 2006 on the independent scene.

Earlier this year, LeRoux was filmed taking some bumps following an event, which he reckoned was the first time he’d done so in around 12 years. It now looks like there was a plan making sure he could still do it, as he’s been announced for GCW in Chicago on 1st September.

*CHICAGO UPDATE* Just Signed: LASH LEROUX makes his in-ring return to wrestling and his GCW Debut on 9/1 in Chicago!
Plus: NICK F’N GAGE VIKINGO MAKI ITOH RINA YAMASHITA BLAKE CHRISTIAN +more!

Although no opponent has been confirmed, it will be interesting to find out who GCW will be the best matchup for someone returning to action after such an extended period.
