Details On New AEW Collision UK Television Deal

AEW Collision Announcement

The debut of AEW Collision is fast approaching, and a new report reveals that the show will air on television in the United Kingdom.

Back in May, All Elite Wrestling officially announced that they’d be adding a Saturday night program to their lineup. The new show, dubbed Collision, is set to debut on June 17th and will emanate live from the United Center in Chicago, IL.

While it had already been announced that live, commercial-free broadcasts of Collision will be part of the AEW Plus subscription on FITE, a new report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reveals that the show will also be airing on ITV 4 on Wednesday nights. The debut episode will air on Wednesday, June 21st.

According to the report, there is currently no confirmation as to the specific time slot for the broadcast, other than the fact that some shows will air at 9pm. Dynamite airs on ITV on Friday nights, and while its time slot is normally 9pm, it is often subject to change. Rampage, which airs on Tuesdays, also has a constantly-changing time slot at some point after 11pm.

The main event of Collision’s debut episode will see CM Punk return to an AEW ring for the first time since All Out. Back in April, it was reported that Punk was on his way back to the company, and despite his return being placed in doubt over disagreements surrounding the return of Ace Steel, Tony Khan has officially announced that Punk is coming back and set to team with FTR to take on the team of Jay White, Juice Robinson, and ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe.
