CM Punk Breaks Silence After Dropping Sensational Pipebomb On WWE RAW
To this day, CM Punk remains one of the best on the mic, and on this week’s episode of WWE Raw, he proved why is that.
The Second City Saint kicked off the April 6, 2026, episode of Monday Night Raw and delivered a scathing pipebomb promo, targeting not only his WrestleMania 42 opponent, Roman Reigns, but also WWE’s parent company, TKO.
Punk started his promo by calling Roman Reigns “a loser, boring, and plastic,” and labeled him a “nepobaby” who has found success in WWE only because of his family connections. Punk also brought Reigns’ cousin, The Rock, into the mix and insulted him by calling him “a bloated cousin and a former Hollywood superstar.”
Punk then turned his attention to Pat McAfee, who made his surprise return on last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, where he aligned himself with The Viper, Randy Orton. Punk criticized McAfee for being a “no-brain hillbilly” and stated that he should not be lecturing wrestlers on how to sell tickets.
CM Punk Targets TKO During WWE Raw Pipebomb Promo
CM Punk then took a direct shot at TKO CEO Ari Emanuel, who brought McAfee into the Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton storyline. Punk demanded that TKO lower the ticket prices for WrestleMania so that it would become affordable for the average fan.
When it comes to sensationalizing the wrestling world, CM Punk knows just how to do it, and his controversial promo has been gaining a lot of traction on social media, with fans and critics commenting on it online.
Following his RAW pipe bomb, CM Punk took to Instagram to casually drop a picture of a GOAT with a caption reading “You better eat your Wheaties.” The picture served as a clear declaration by Punk that he considered himself the greatest of all time.
