8 Names CM Punk Called Out In His WWE RAW Pipebomb You May Have Missed
CM Punk shocked the WWE Universe once again tonight as he unleashed another one of his famous pipebomb promos to kick off Monday Night RAW in Houston, Texas.
Punk was furious after the events that had transpired in the last few weeks, and he took full advantage of Roman Reigns’ absence from tonight’s show as he came out with all guns blazing.
With less than two weeks remaining for their blockbuster match at WrestleMania 42, CM Punk left no stone unturned to make the match even more exciting tonight, referencing eight separate WWE-related names in his pipebomb promo tonight.
1) Roman Reigns
Most of CM Punk’s promo was addressed to Roman Reigns following Punk’s attack on him last week at Madison Square Garden. He unleashed on his WrestleMania 42 opponent, calling him out over his part-time status with the promotion. He even claimed that he’s glad Roman Reigns hates him, as it tells him that he’s doing something right.
Being hated by losers is the price I pay for not being one of them,” Punk said [referencing Roman Reigns]
2) The Usos
CM Punk came after Roman’s family once again during WWE RAW tonight as he referenced The Usos as well during his promo. The Usos are Roman’s cousins and have been with him ever since Roman became the Tribal Chief. Punk called Roman out by saying that he hates him because he can’t control him like he controls his cousins and the rest of his family, referencing The Usos.
3) The Rock
The Usos weren’t the only members of Roman Reigns’ family who were mentioned by CM Punk tonight. While he never named the twins, he did name-drop another one of Roman’s famous cousins, The Rock. He said that Roman walks around like he’s The Rock, but disrespected The Great One by saying that he used to be a Hollywood superstar.
4) Sika
The final member of the Samoan Dynasty that CM Punk referred to was one that he had referenced several weeks earlier as well, Roman’s father, Sika. He was one-half of the legendary WWE tag team, The Wild Samoans, and Punk brought that up during his promo. He humiliated Regins’ past as a football player and called out Sika at the same time.
My daddy wasn’t a pro wrestler who gave me a favor job because I sucked at Football, no,” Punk said, referencing Sika.
5) Paul Heyman
During the same part of the promo, CM Punk also spoke about an honorary member of the Bloodline, one even he had ties to. Punk referenced his former best friend and Roman’s wiseman, Paul Heyman, stating that he doesn’t need any advocates, wisemen, and yes men surrounding him who want to protect him from the truth.
6) Vince McMahon
While taking shots at Roman Reigns, CM Punk took a shot at former WWE owner and chairperson, Vince McMahon. Punk hasn’t been fond of McMahon ever since his last run in the promotion, and he didn’t mince his words over his relationship with Vince. He called Vince a “weird old man” who treated him like a dog for years.
You are just a buck-toothed nepo baby who ate dog food for a weird old man. And that weird old man for years treated me like a dog, and he expected me to smile, but I had ‘F you’ money, so I took that, and my dignity, and I left.” Punk said.
7) Pat McAfee
Moving away from his rant directed at Roman Reigns, CM Punk turned his attention to Pat McAfee, who only returned to WWE this past Friday Night on SmackDown. He was furious with McAfee after he made damaging comments regarding the current WWE product and the fact that WWE WrestleMania still hasn’t been a sold-out event on SmackDown last week.
8) Ari Emmanuel
The final individual that CM Punk referenced in his pipebomb promo was none other than TKO CEO, Ari Emmanuel. He was speaking to Pat McAfee when he referenced Ari, referring to him as the agent who got Pat McAfee in and called him out by saying that he should be reducing the ticket prices for WrestleMania 42.
“If you want to talk about ticket sales, call up that agent who was foolish enough to shoehorn you into this business and this show, and tell him to lower the ticket prices!” Punk said.
