Charlotte Flair Breaks Silence After Injuring WWE Star On SmackDown
Charlotte Flair left a mark with her performance on the latest SmackDown taping.
Literally!
The June 5 episode of the blue brand emanated from Bologna, Italy, where WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley acknowledged Flair’s assistance during her title defense versus Jade Cargill at Clash in Italy.
Flair and Ripley were shortly joined by the Women’s United States Champion, Tiffany Stratton. The trio was then interrupted by Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab, who seemed like they were up to no good.
It was earlier confirmed that Ripley was banged up after her Turin title defense and was in no condition to compete. She even wore protective gear on her right knee and was occasionally seen limping.
Following an argument between the two parties, a tag team match was finalized by GM Nick Aldis, with Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton teaming up against Michin and Jade Cargill.
The match ended with the heel duo securing a victory after Cargill hit Stratton with her Jaded finisher. However, not everyone came out unscathed from the match.
A backstage video shared by Michin shows her discussing with someone the visible boot mark left on her face, courtesy of Charlotte Flair.

The Queen even commented on the video, writing:

Charlotte Flair To Feud With Jade Cargill Following Clash In Italy
With her loss at Clash in Italy, Jade Cargill ended her months-long rivalry with Rhea Ripley. In doing so, she even found out who she would challenge next.
Charlotte Flair’s interference in Italy was the result of Cargill and her allies’ attack on her tag partner, Alexa Bliss.
On last week’s SmackDown, Bliss challenged Cargill in a singles match. Despite winning, Cargill dropped Bliss with a Jaded on a steel chair, forcing her to miss this week’s taping.
After Clash in Italy ended, Charlotte Flair was seen backstage in an interview with Cathy Kelley. However, she was cornered by Cargill, B-Fab, and Michin, who attacked her before the security team stepped in and prevented disaster.
Ex-WWE employee Tommy Carlucci expressed excitement over Flair’s upcoming feud with Cargill, stating that both superstars looked like a million bucks and were capable of generating interest in fans.
That’s definitely gonna happen because what we saw at Clash, Charlotte coming in and helping out, it’s gonna…Jade is done with her championship run. But Charlotte and her could be very entertaining. If they do their feud right…because they both look like a million dollars, and they could use that against each other. “Look at your outfit. Look at my outfit. Look at me, look at you. Blah, blah, blah…” I think it can go a long way.
If anything, she looks like a million dollars. She’s a little clunky in the ring, but I agree, that was her best match, and you know why? Because Rhea was there to help her with that match. And that’s what makes you good is the other partner working with you big time in a big way.
