Jade Cargill’s months-long feud with Rhea Ripley came to an end at Clash in Italy.

Cargill’s rivalry with The Eradicator started after the latter’s victory in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match. Even before their feud kicked off on television, both superstars engaged in a heated banter on social media.

Reports claimed that the accusations they leveled against each other were legitimate, which eventually prompted a few other SmackDown talents to jump to Ripley’s defense.

During the rivalry, Jade Cargill became allies with her former rivals Michin and B-Fab, giving her a numbers advantage over her adversary.

At WrestleMania 42, Ripley defeated The Storm to be crowned the new Women’s WWE Champion.

After taking a couple of weeks off following her loss, Cargill returned to SmackDown and cost Ripley a six-woman tag team match, which included Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss as her partners against the trio of Fatal Influence.

This led to a six-woman tag match at Saturday Night’s Main Event, where Rhea Ripley was pinned by Jade Cargill, setting up their WrestleMania rematch at Clash in Italy.

At the Turin PLE on May 31, the Australian superstar defeated Cargill, but not before Flair helped her by taking out Michin and B-Fab, who had interfered in the title match.

Jade Cargill To Begin Feud With Charlotte Flair On WWE SmackDown

The loss at Clash in Italy not only ended Jade Cargill’s television rivalry with Rhea Ripley, but also removed her from the title picture.

According to former WWE employee, Tommy Carlucci, she will now feud with Charlotte Flair for costing her the chance of reclaiming her title in Italy.

Speaking on The Last Word podcast with Gaby LaSpica, Carlucci predicted their rivalry to be box office.

That’s definitely gonna happen because what we saw at Clash, Charlotte coming in and helping out, it’s gonna…Jade is done with her championship run. But Charlotte and her could be very entertaining. If they do their feud right…because they both look like a million dollars, and they could use that against each other. “Look at your outfit. Look at my outfit. Look at me, look at you. Blah, blah, blah…” I think it can go a long way.

If anything, she looks like a million dollars. She’s a little clunky in the ring, but I agree, that was her best match, and you know why? Because Rhea was there to help her with that match. And that’s what makes you good is the other partner working with you big time in a big way. [45:06 onwards]

Jade Cargill Assaults Charlotte Flair After Clash In Italy

In a video shared on WWE’s social media account, Charlotte Flair was seen viciously attacked by Jade Cargill and her compatriots backstage after her loss at Clash in Italy.

The video shows Charlotte being interviewed by Cathy Kelley when Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab blindsided her. WWE officials, including SmackDown GM Nick Aldis, were forced to step in to pacify the situation.
