Breaking: World Champion Shockingly Dethroned At WWE WrestleMania 42
The first night of WrestleMania 42 saw a new Women’s World Champion be crowned in WWE as Liv Morgan defeated Stephanie Vaquer to win the title for the third time in her career.
While Morgan got her hands on the World Title on Monday Night RAW, her long-term rival, Rhea Ripley, embarked on her own journey to try and become the World Champion on Friday Night SmackDown.
The WWE Universe was treated to a mouth-watering clash between Jade Cargill and Rhea Ripley for the former’s WWE Women’s Championship on Night Two of WrestleMania 42.

The rivalry between these two women became incredibly heated over the last few weeks, with Jade Cargill and her lackies, B-Fab and Michin, taking out both Rhea and her tag team partner, IYO SKY, on multiple occasions.
The intensity of their rivalry was visibly evident during their entire bout tonight as both women pushed each other to their limit. Jade got the match off to a flying start for herself as she dominated Ripley during the early stages of the match.
Rhea endured all the damage from Cargill and then came out all guns firing against the WWE Women’s Champion. Just as she was about to hit a Razor’s Edge on Cargill, B-Fab and Michin showed up and attacked Rhea behind the referee’s back.

They tried to attack her on the outside, but the referee saw them before they could make a move, and just then, IYO SKY came out to her friend’s rescue. She took out both of them and distracted Cargill in the ring.
This allowed Rhea to get back in the match and headbutt Cargill before going for a Riptide. Jade reversed and tried to hit Ripley with a Jaded, but Ripley turned it around and hit a Riptide, ultimately defeating Jade and becoming the new WWE Women’s Champion.
