Charlotte Flair has had many iconic rivalries in WWE, but the one that probably stands out the most is her history-defining feud with Becky Lynch.

They began as allies during WWE’s Women’s Evolution, with Charlotte often positioned as the bigger star. Their storyline changed dramatically at SummerSlam 2018 when Becky attacked Charlotte after losing the SmackDown Women’s Championship opportunity, leading to Becky’s meteoric rise as “The Man.”

Their rivalry has given the wrestling world some of the greatest matches in WWE history. Alongside Ronda Rousey, they became the first women to ever main event WrestleMania 35 in a triple threat match in 2019.

Charlotte Flair Teases More Chapters In Becky Lynch Feud

Season 6, Episode 2 of the A&E special WWE Rivals is set to feature Flair and Lynch’s rivalry.

Speaking on TMZ’s Inside The Ring, The Queen reflected on her feud with Lynch ahead of the episode premiere, saying that their rivalry is far from over. She believes their story has only just begun and that there are still many more chapters left to write.

“It’s incredible that Becky and I have this platform to talk about the incredible rivalry that we had due to the pivotal moment in the business for women, for us, and what we mean to each other’s careers.”

“There wouldn’t be ‘The Man’ without ‘The Queen,’ and there wouldn’t be ‘The Queen’ without ‘The Man.’ I don’t think it’s over. I think this is just the beginning. If they’re a new fan, they’re just getting a taste of what Becky versus Charlotte looked like. But to me, it’s like, no, I want to see what’s next.”

Flair and Lynch were not only on-screen rivals but bitter backstage enemies as well. Their real-life friendship reportedly suffered because of backstage competition, with tensions peaking during the infamous 2021 title exchange incident.

Following years of animosity and refusing to speak or acknowledge each other backstage, the two stars have completely reconciled.
