Charlotte Flair teamed up with Alexa Bliss at WrestleMania 42, where the duo competed in a Fatal Four-Way match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Brie Bella and the returning Paige won the match to become the new champions.
A few weeks ago, Charlotte Flair appeared in an interview with SiriusXM Sports, where she was asked which WWE or NXT star she is most looking forward to facing for the first time. Flair responded that she would very much like to face Blake Monroe from NXT.
In response, Monroe also expressed her desire to step into the ring with Charlotte. This could be a hint at a future showdown between the two

On the SmackDown after WrestleMania, Charlotte Flair and her tag team partner Alexa Bliss challenged Brie Bella and Paige for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. However, the match ended in disqualification after interference from Fatal Influence.
Ric Flair Wants Charlotte Flair To Chase Gold In Singles Competition
Charlotte Flair’s team-up with Alexa Bliss has been receiving a lot of positive reactions from fans, and the duo even went on to capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship last year in August. However, not everyone is a fan of this direction.
Charlotte’s father, Ric Flair, voiced his disapproval of her tag team run. Speaking in a recent interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, Ric Flair said he did not like Charlotte’s WrestleMania 42 match and added that he wants to see her return to singles competition and chase championship gold.
“I didn’t like her match at all, and I think that Ashley needs to be a singles wrestler, and I know she enjoys her relationship with Alexa, but if Ashley is not in a title picture right now, in my life and as a spectator, without her in the main event in a singles match.”
“The match she had with Rhea Ripley two years ago, they’ve never had a match like that ever in the history of women’s wrestling, and Rhea’s getting gold as well, I’m putting them both over.”
