Cardi B Gives Opinion On AEW Grand Slam Segment

Cardi B

With a fellow rap sensation making a surprise appearance at AEW Grand Slam, Cardi B has given her take on what her peer had to say.

At the special edition of AEW Dynamite from New York City, Tony Schiavone interviewed TBS Champion Jade Cargill and The Baddies. They were informed that Diamante would be the next challenger for the title, with the match taking place on Friday’s edition of Rampage.

When Schiavone was trying to say that Diamante wouldn’t be alone, he was told to “cut the s*it” but Cargill, who made it clear that in the future she would have her sights set on the AEW Women’s Championship currently held by Toni Storm, but for now her focus is entirely on defending the TBS Championship.

At this point Diamante entered the fray, and revealed that she was going to be accompanied by rap sensation and “the baddest b*tch” Trina, which seemed to surprise the title holder. When Cargill said she’d see Trina there, she was met with the response “you see me now”.

Cardi B was quick to give her opinion on the segment on social media.

Plenty of indications have been made in the past showing how much of a wrestling fan Cardi B is, including referencing Jimmy ‘Superfly’ Snuka in her recent release ‘Hot S*it’. Having also said that Eddie Guerrero’s wrestling theme is her favourite, the likes of Alexa Bliss and Bianca Belair have commented that they’d love to do something alongside the rap star in WWE if there was an opportunity on the table.
