Bryan Danielson Names Two Unlikely AEW Stars For BCC

Bryan Danielson

Bryan Danielson has two AEW names in mind as potential members of his Blackpool Combat Club group.

The Blackpool Combat Club stable in AEW was formed in 2022 by William Regal, who is from Blackpool, England. Regal left AEW in December 2022 and went back to WWE, but the group has been prominently featured on AEW television throughout 2023.

It’s a group that isn’t shown together that often on AEW television, but Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta are all featured regularly on AEW programming.

During the Continental Classic tournament, Danielson and Castagnoli are in the Blue League part of the tournament while Moxley is undefeated at 3-0 in the Gold League. Bryan Danielson, who recently defeated Eddie Kingston on Collision, will have to wrestle Castagnoli at one point and perhaps a match with Moxley could be coming as well.

Who Does Bryan Danielson Think Would Make Good Additions To The BCC?

In an interview with DAZN, Danielson mentioned a seldom-used AEW wrestler who could fit well into the Blackpool Combat Club.

“Anthony Ogogo. That’s a really interesting fit with his boxing background and he’s as tough as nails.”

Another name that Bryan mentioned is the FTW Champion Hook, who is known for his grappling skills.

“Another interesting one is Hook. He’s got beef with Wheeler Yuta right now but sometimes those beefs lead to respect.”

Whether there will be any new editions to the BCC group any time soon is unknown at this time.

Up next for Bryan Danielson is a Continental Classic tournament match against Daniel Garcia on Rampage and Andrade El Idolo on Collision. Both matches have already been taped.
