Bronson Reed Retires Move After WWE Injury: “Never Again”

Bronson Reed WWE

Bronson Reed suffered a torn bicep on the February 23 episode of WWE Raw.

It happened during a triple threat Elimination Chamber qualifying match against Jey Uso and Original El Grande Americano. The injury occurred when Reed attempted to break a pinfall.

Speaking on Stage Dive, Headbangers member Chaz Warrington commented on Bronson Reed’s injury and pointed out that The Vision member breaking the pinfall was only a simple move, but since he got extra creative, it unfortunately led him to sustain the injury.

It brings up two different thoughts for me. The one thought is guys are trying to get, in my opinion sometimes, are trying to get too creative to break up a pinfall. Let me run and jump and do a Back Sensei, whatever the hell it’s called, bump on top of them. Instead of just running over and just kicking them or running over and just pushing them.

I realize they’re trying to make sense of urgency with it. I’m going to make it the last second, dive. But we’ve done… Many saves when just coming in and just a kick is sufficient or you fall on top of him. But sometimes maybe they’re trying to get a little too fancy with it.

I realize, you know, they’re trying to get creative. You don’t want the same thing over and over. And it’s very creative, a lot of stuff. But sometimes I think it’s a little too much, which is why people are getting hurt.

Bronson Reed’s Response To Chaz Warrington’s Comments

Reacting to Warrington’s comments, Bronson Reed tweeted that he will never attempt such a move again.

Bronson Reed tweeted, “Trust me, never again my headbanging brothers.”

Reed recently underwent surgery. Because of the recovery timeline, he is expected to miss WrestleMania 42 in April 2026.
