A WWE Hall of Famer and The Undertaker’s former rival put a condition on his potential return. The legend in question is none other than The Great Khali.

Back in 2006, The Great Khali made his memorable WWE debut after a few years on the Japanese wrestling scene. His first feud in the Stamford-based promotion was with The Undertaker, and Khali also got a win over The Phenom. He went on to feud with the likes of Kane, John Cena, Batista, and also became the World Heavyweight Champion in 2007.

The Great Khali was also inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2021. He last competed in the Greatest Royal Rumble match back in 2018. On being asked if he would consider returning to the Sports Entertainment Juggernaut during an interview last year, Khali said he is busy with his promotion, CWE, and other things, but could return for a Rumble appearance and not permanently:

I don’t think so, going back to WWE. I’m doing so many things. CWE, I have a restaurant business. I have lots of commercials. So many events in India. I’m busy all the time. I don’t want to come back to WWE. I want to come and just say, ‘Hello. Hi.’ Check in a little bit. Royal Rumble. Not permanently. Permanently? No. I’m doing so many things,” said Khali.

The Undertaker’s former rival puts condition on his potential WWE return

Speaking with Chris Van Vliet, The Undertaker’s former rival, The Great Khali was asked if he could come back to WWE for a Royal Rumble spot or something. Khali said he could show up for 1-2 days but not full-time because of his knee:

You never know. Maybe WWE will ask me one day if I can go. Just 1-2 days, not full-time, never, because of my knee, so I can’t go full time.”

On being asked about his knee, the WWE Hall of Famer said he wants surgery after a break:

Still here, I just want to take a break for a little bit. Then I want surgery, but I’m just busy every day.”

Khali also opened up on confronting The Unddertaker on his WWE debut:

Very excited and I’m so happy when I debuted. So Mark Henry had the Undertaker match, then I go out. So first face to face, he started giving two or three chops, I give you this big chop, Great Khali chop, then he’s down. This moment was an emotional moment because when I start wrestling, that’s my dream come true to work for WWE. Undertaker is a huge name, so I chop him, so that’s a very big thing for me.” [h/t chrisvanvliet.com]

Only time will tell if the ghost from The Undertaker’s past will ever return to WWE.
