Janel Grant Representative Issues Statement After Brock Lesnar’s WWE Return

A representative for Janel Grant, the woman suing Vince McMahon, has addressed WWE’s decision to bring back Brock Lesnar after a two-year absence.

The ending of the first two-night edition of WWE SummerSlam saw the new WWE Champion Cody Rhodes shake hands and hug with John Cena, who was competing in his final SummerSlam match.

After an emotional John Cena soaked in the cheers from the crowd, the music of WWE legend Brock Lesnar hit as Michael Cole exclaimed, “Holy S**t.” It’s a reaction many people have had since Lesnar’s two-year absence from WWE, leaving it uncertain whether he would return.

Brock Lesnar went into the ring and gave his former rival Cena an F5 right in the middle of the ring. Lesnar left while fans were left to assume that there is at least one more Lesnar-Cena match coming before Cena calls it a career.

It was the first time that WWE fans had seen Lesnar in the ring since SummerSlam 2023 when he lost to Rhodes.

A Lesnar return in January 2024 was called off after Brock Lesnar was implicated in the sexual abuse lawsuit filed against former WWE owner Vince McMahon by former WWE employee Janel Grant.

While Grant is not suing Lesnar in her lawsuit against McMahon, he was listed in the lawsuit over 40 times because McMahon tried to get Lesnar to sign a new WWE deal by using Grant for sexual trafficking purposes.

Vince McMahon has repeatedly claimed his innocence and is fighting back against the claims made by Janel Grant in the lawsuit.

Janel Grant’s Representative Is Looking Forward To Facts About Brock Lesnar

In a statement released by a representative of Janel Grant, they fired a shot at WWE while mentioning Lesnar by name.

“For far too long, abuse was allowed to thrive under WWE’s leadership. Instead of righting this wrong, WWE has done nothing to ensure those responsible are held accountable. This attempt to sweep misconduct under the rug will backfire. We look forward to the full set of facts, including those about Mr. Lesnar, coming out in a court of law where they belong but, in the meantime, we refer you back to Janel Grant’s updated complaint, which outlines, in detail, the abuse she endured by McMahon and others while employed at WWE.”

As for WWE, they hid Lesnar backstage before his appearance at SummerSlam. It’s not known when Lesnar will appear on WWE television again.
