Bray Wyatt Hints At Imminent Return To Wrestling

Bray Wyatt

Former WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt has given another hint that he will be returning to wrestling action sooner rather than later.

News of Bray Wyatt being released from WWE was originally broken by Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp. this was quickly followed by official confirmation from the promotion that they had come to terms on the release of the patriarch of the Wyatt Family on July 31st.

Soon after the announcement, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that the former Universal Champion was told he was being let go because of budget cuts. Meltzer also noted that Wyatt had been preparing to return to WWE TV the following month.

Andrew Zarian of The Mat Men podcast shed further light on the circumstances surrounding Wyatt’s release, reporting that budget concerns weren’t the only reason for WWE letting him go.

“Bray was being difficult. I’m going to fill in a lot and I’m not going to quote here. I have the quote but I don’t want to quote it. He was a little difficult, he had some performance issues in the ring, and he had some weight issues.”

Now, Bray Wyatt has taken to Twitter to give a cryptic update, saying only “2 more days”. This will coincide with the no-compete clause of his contract expires, allowing him to appear in the wrestling world again.

This isn’t the first tease Wyatt has made about an impending return, as back in September he said he would “See you all very soon”.
