Becky Lynch had a night to forget on the first Raw episode of May.

The Monday taping saw Sol Ruca become an official member of the red brand, but not before a chain of events went drastically wrong for Lynch.

The Women’s Intercontinental Champion interrupted Ruca’s contract signing segment with Raw general manager, Adam Pearce.

Midway through it, Becky made her entrance and claimed that the segment was allotted to her, which Pearce denied.

Not happy about being interrupted, Sol Ruca addressed Becky Lynch directly, acknowledging everything that he had accomplished in the squared circle. Sol also called her a rude, big-headed b**ch, which made the champion angry.

Just when Ruca was handing Pearce her signed contract, Lynch took a swing at the latest Raw signee, who ducked, leading to Lynch punching Pearce square in the face.

Becky Lynch profusely apologized to Pearce, but did not see Ruca come from behind, who hit her with her Sol Snatcher finisher, leaving her laid out.

Becky Lynch Addresses Inadvertent Attack On Adam Pearce

Despite Becky Lynch appearing apologetic for inadvertently attacking Adam Pearce, it remains to be seen if she is reprimanded in any fashion.

Regardless, in a backstage video shared on her X account, Lynch addressed the entire situation, admitting that she was in hot water, while also calling Pearce her “good friend.”

Did she say her name was Sol Puka coz that Sol Puka makes me wanna puke, okay? Attacking me out of nowhere for doing nothing, absolutely nothing. I went out there to have a very civil conversation with my good friend, Adam Pearce, who, by the way, I would never harm in any way, ever, no.

I’ve never said a bad word against Adam Pearce. I respect him immesurably. I was actually just reaching, I was trying to reach; I’m very strong sometimes I don’t know my own strengths, but I was trying to reach to see that contract. But sometimes, there can be hidden things in the contract. You wanna make sure that she’s not getting a title shot or something, you know, like somebody snuck that in a little favor from NXT. And now, I’m in hot water with Pearce, which I would never…

We’ve always had just such great relationship, so I’m very upset about it.

Becky Lynch On Whether Her Current WWE Contract Will Be Her Last

Becky Lynch has been with WWE since 2013, where she is a multi-time Women’s Champion and an unprecedented 3-time Women’s Intercontinental Champion.

In Season 2 of WWE: Unreal, she was featured in a backstage segment, where she claimed that her current contract with the company would be her last.

She was asked about it again during a recent interview on Chris Van Vliet’s Insight podcast. In response, the 39-year-old superstar claimed that she never said it with such assuredness, stating that she is still undecided.

I mean, I didn’t say it with such assuredness as you did, right? I said it’s probably my last one. I think I said this is likely my last one. That’s not a sure [thing], but, yeah, no, it might be, could be.
