Becky Lynch Goes Wild After WWE Title Win
Becky Lynch has let the world know exactly what she thinks after she captured championship gold on the first WWE Raw of 2026.
The last few months of 2025 were not easy ones for Becky Lynch. She sought to help her husband, Seth Rollins, in his feud with CM Punk, but ended up on the losing side at Wrestlepalooza as Punk brought back AJ Lee to win a huge mixed tag team match.
That sparked off two unlikely losses to Maxxine Dupri, with Dupri finally defeating Lynch to win her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship in Madison Square Garden. This came against a backdrop of Seth Rollins being brutally betrayed by The Vision before he had to relinquish the World Heavyweight Championship due to injury.
But while 2025 might have ended on a sour note for Lynch, the new year has gone off with a bang.
Becky Lynch Becomes 2-Time Champ
On the January 5th edition of Raw, Maxxine Dupri put her title on the line against Becky Lynch, and it ended up fourth time lucky for the Irish star. Lynch defeated Dupri to become the first star to hold the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship more than once.
In a series of posts on social media, Becky Lynch has become more unhinged as she celebrates her success and continues mimicking the social media style of a WWE Hall of Famer. Lynch wrote:
WHAT A VICTORY!!! TOTALLY DOMINATED THAT MATCH!!! CONGRATS TO ME, THE FIRST EVER 2x INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION! (EVEN THOUGH I NEVER REALLY LOST IT IN THE FIRST PLACE) TONIGHT WAS A WIN THAT NETFLIX CAN BE PROUD OF!!!
Lynch followed up with:
Just got off the phone with the NEW MAYOR OF NYC! He’s a HUGE Becky Believer and he wanted to congratulate me on my HISTORIC win! He EVEN wants to throw yours truly the biggest VICTORY PARADE in the history of the CITY! I politely declined as I have major interviews, premieres, and victory parties to attend to! LIFE IN THE BIG TIME!
She then gave Maxxine Dupri a nickname:
I won FAIR and SQUARE (EXCELLENT officiating by the way)!!! I can’t help that I’m SMARTER, FASTER, and BETTER than DEFUNCT DUPRI!!! Maybe she should have trained HARDER instead of making wedding TIKTOKS!!! TOTAL LOSER!!!
