It’s Official! Bayley Set For Major Match Outside WWE
Bayley is set to compete outside WWE programming in a match coming up soon.
Bayley has been firmly cemented in the mid-card in recent times in WWE. The Role Model has majorly part of a tag team with teammate Lyra Valkyria, and has been in hot pursuit of the Women’s Tag Team Titles for months. The pair battled it out in a fatal four-way tag team match at WrestleMania 42 in April, but came out short as Brie Bella and a returning Paige won the bout to become the new champions.
The former WWE Women’s Champion had a shot at the Women’s Intercontinental Title against AJ Lee a few months ago on Raw, which she qualified for by winning a gauntlet match the previous week, but Lee managed to retain on the night.
Now she has a new task at hand as she is part of the match card at AAA-Worldwide’s Noches de Los Grandes event.
Bayley Is Set To Compete In WWE’s AAA Worldwide On May 30th
At AAA Noches de Los Grandes, Bayley, La Catalina, and NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice are all set to team up for a major bout. On the May 9th episode of Lucha Libre AAA, Las Toxicas (Flammer, Maravilla & La Hiedra) had the numerical advantage over La Catalina and NXT Women’s and AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champion Lola Vice.
Shockingly, former WWE Women’s Champion Bayley made her way to the ring to level the playing field. The following week on the show, a six-woman tag team match was announced for the PLE Noches de Los Grandes on May 30th.
Bayley, La Catalina, and Vice will square off against Las Toxicas in a six-woman tag team contest.
With The Role Model not getting much screen time on WWE TV lately, especially after her loss at WrestleMania 42, her upcoming match in AAA should get many of her fans excited.
Bayley’s beef with Las Toxicas dates back to an episode of AAA from March, when she answered an open challenge by Flammer for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship. Bayley lost the match due to interference from Las Toxicas.
