Bad Bunny Match Floated Around For Hated WWE Star
One of the most hated names on the WWE roster claims a match with Bad Bunny has been floated for him.
Bad Bunny lit up WWE anytime he stepped in the ring, wowing many with his impressive athleticism and natural charisma. Bunny had one of the most memorable entrances in WWE history when he made his way to the ring in his native Puerto Rico for a San Juan Street Fight against Damian Priest at Backlash in 2023, a fight that the recording artist won.
More recently, Bad Bunny became a lightning rod for the polarising state of politics in the United States when he headlined the Super Bowl halftime show, spreading a message of positivity and love.
WWE star Logan Paul dismissed his brother Jake’s criticism of Bunny being featured on the show, but when asked if he was excited about Bunny’s performance, the former US Champion coolly answered “no.”
But there could be a good reason for that.
Logan Paul vs. Bad Bunny?
Speaking on his ImPaulsive podcast, Logan Paul claimed he was peeling back the curtain and said that his curt response was mainly a work, because the idea of him wrestling Bad Bunny has been floated:
Let’s peel back the f****ng curtain. I’m going to stop f***ing around. Bad Bunny is a world-renowned superstar. He also can be a WWE superstar when he wants. He’s a good wrestler. He can f****ng wrestle. There have been talks about maybe us wrestling. It’s been floated around. I’ve been candid about the fact that I’d love to do it. I think it would be the greatest WWE match of all time. I really believe that.
In that regard, any time I’m asked about Bad Bunny, I think that in the back of my mind. To set that up, when I’m asked if I’m excited, saying ‘no,’ one word, now people are talking about it. However, there is truth to the fact that I’m a 30-year-old man,” Paul said.
I’m not excited about any halftime show. I don’t care. I didn’t even really watch the game that much. I was ripping packs. I’d say 80-20. Yeah. 80 being work. 20% like, I don’t care if it’s Bad Bunny performing or someone else.
