Alexa Bliss Celebrates Impressive WWE Milestone

Alexa Bliss has commented on reaching a milestone in her WWE career while saying she’s “grateful” for it.

When Alexa Bliss signed with WWE in 2013, she was 21 years old and was not somebody that came from a pro wrestling background. While other women signed around that time like Becky Lynch, Bayley and Sasha Banks were wrestlers before they got to WWE, Bliss was not.

During her time NXT, Bliss was in a few different roles from being a sparkly cheerleader to more of a villainous manager for the Blake & Murphy tag team.

In July 2016, Bliss got the call to join the Smackdown brand. That was when Smackdown became a live Tuesday show, so WWE went back to a strict brand split and Bliss became a huge star during that period.

By the end of 2016 at TLC in December, Bliss became Smackdown Women’s Champion for the first time. Over the next few years, Bliss was always around the title picture whether she was on Raw & Smackdown.

While on the main roster, Bliss has done very well for herself. She is a former two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion, three-time RAW Women’s Champion and a two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion with Nikki Cross.

On Twitter, Bliss noted that today was ten years since she signed with WWE.

Now at 31 years old, Alexa Bliss is married to singer Ryan Cabrera and is in the role of a veteran women’s wrestler.

It has been over three months since Bliss was last seen at WWE’s Royal Rumble losing a Raw Women’s Title match to Bianca Belair. Recently, she underwent a procedure to remove skin cancer cells from her face. She would go on to say that there was a short healing time, so physically she is doing well.

There was a recent update that Alexa Bliss might be returning to WWE for the Night of Champions Premium Live Event on May 27th, but that’s not official.

Congratulations to Alexa Bliss on reaching ten years in WWE. Here’s to many more years of good health and success in your future.
