Update On Alexa Bliss Returning To WWE TV

Alexa Bliss

The WWE return of former Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss may be coming very soon.

It has been over three months since Alexa Bliss appeared on WWE television. At January’s Royal Rumble, Bliss lost a Raw Women’s Championship match against Bianca Belair and has been away since then.

Part of the reason for Alexa’s absence is that she revealed in late March that she underwent a procedure to remove skin cancer cells from her face. She would go on to say that there was a short healing time, so physically she is doing well.

The BoozerRasslin Twitter account which has been known for giving some insider news of late, has noted that Alexa is wanted for Night of Champions on May 27th, which is a WWE Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer also reported that Bliss is “ready to return” to WWE soon.

During her WWE career, Alexa Bliss has accomplished a lot over the last decade. She is a former three-time Raw Women’s Champion, two-time Smackdown Women’s Champion, three-time Women’s Tag Team Champion and she even held the “coveted” 24/7 Championship as well. Bliss also won the Women’s Money in the Bank match in 2018.

In 2022, Alexa Bliss was somewhat of a role player on the WWE Raw brand. In the second half of the year, she was part of a rivalry with Bianca Belair & Asuka against the Damage CTRL trio of Bayley, IYO SKY & Dakota Kai. There were teases for her to re-align with Bray Wyatt, but it didn’t fully happen.

While Bliss has been off WWE TV for months, she did appear on TV recently when she took part in the latest season of The Masked Singer.
