AEW has filed a trademark application for an upcoming match.

On March 3rd, AEW will hold its 5th annual Revolution pay-per-view. This year, the event takes place in Greensboro, North Carolina and will be headlined by Sting’s final match. There, Sting will team up with longtime ally Darby Allin to defend the Tag Team Titles against The Young Bucks.

Elsewhere on the card, it has been announced that there will be a “Meat Madness” match that features some of the bigger men in the company. On February 26th, AEW announced that Wardlow, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Lance Archer would take part in Meat Madness, although the exact stipulations are currently unknown.

On February 26th, AEW filed an application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office to trademark the term “AEW: Meat Madness,” possibly indicating the bout won’t just be a one-off. Interestingly, on the same day the company has also applied to trademark another term, “AEW Match Madness,” although it is not yet known what this will be used for.

Both applications have the following description associated with their proposed use:

“Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services in the nature of live wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of wrestling programs and events; Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing multimedia program featuring wrestling distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of wrestling”
