Nick Aldis Drops Bombshell Announcement Regarding His WWE Future On SmackDown
WWE SmackDown kicked off a new era tonight as the show aired live from the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where the new Undisputed WWE Champion was welcomed.
The fans were welcomed to the stadium by the SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis, who was present in the ring to provide an update on his future on the blue brand.
Aldis was involved in a backstage altercation with Gunther following Night of Champions where the SmackDown General Manager shoved him after the Ring General got in his face.
Nick Aldis confirms his WWE SmackDown future
Following his actions in Saudi Arabia, WWE temporarily suspended Aldis and put Adam Pearce in charge of both RAW and SmackDown. Aldis was then present at this week’s episode of RAW, where he called CM Punk to face Sami Zayn.
As Punk dethroned Zayn as the new champion, Aldis informed that he has been reinstated and will continue to serve as the SmackDown General Manager.
