There were major travel issues that caused some AEW wrestlers to miss this week’s Dynamite and Rampage tapings.

This week’s edition of AEW Dynamite took place in Broomfield, Colorado with Rampage being taped right after it. The show was main evented by Samoa Joe beating Wardlow to keep the TNT Title while The Elite got a big win over Death Triangle to even up their Best of Seven Series at 3-3.

It has also been reported by Fightful Select that several AEW performers had some travel issues since there’s a lot of chaos at the airports during the holiday season. Plus, some part of the US have had some major snowstorms to deal with in the last week that has led to a lot of issues for airlines.

There were several wrestlers from the Buffalo area that couldn’t make it to Dynamite due to the winter storm they have been dealing with for over a week.

Some of the big names that couldn’t make it to Dynamite/Rampage include Dr. Britt Baker DMD, Saraya and Eddie Kingston. They were supposed to be there, but they never made it in time, so AEW’s decision-makers like Tony Khan had to change things around for both shows.

The report from Fightful also noted that AEW officials were really happy with how the tapings went and Dynamite especially received positive reviews from most fans.
