Vickie Guerrero’s time in AEW appears to be coming to an end and the star has revealed that she has been asked to stay home by the company.

Vickie Guerrero joined AEW back in the summer of 2020 where she became former AEW Women’s World Champion Nyla Rose’s manager. Guerrero accompanied Rose to the ring for matches and infuriated crowds by screeching out her infamous “Excuse Me” catchphrase.

In June 2021, Vickie Guerrero also began a short-lived association with Andrade El Idolo as she welcomed him to the company. After just a few weeks, El Idolo’s association with Vickie ended when she was replaced at his side by her nephew Chavo Guerrero.

Fightful Select recently reported that Vickie Guerrero’s time in the company was coming to an end as the company was not going to extend her contract which expires in July 2023. Taking to social media to hype up Nyla Rose’s Rampage match against Riho where she was solely accompanied to the ring by Marina Shafir, Guerrero noted that the company requested that she stay home:

@aewrequested for me to stay home and I am not at events…I have no doubts that the #viciousvixens@NylaRoseBeast@MarinaShafirwill have the fans witness a destructive match against Riho!!”

Nyla Rose competed against Riho on the 10th of March edition of Rampage in Sacramento, CA with the inaugural AEW Women’s World Champion picking up a big win over The Native Beast.
