Absent AEW Star Confirms Being Part Of Jon Moxley’s Death Riders Stable
An absent AEW star has finally confirmed that he is part of Jon Moxley’s faction.
Jon Moxley and the Death Riders have been one of the most dominant factions in AEW in recent years. The group played a key role in Mox’s reign as World Champion. The Death Riders continue to be featured prominently on TV every week.
On a few occasions, Gabe Kidd has stepped up to help the group. He was part of Jon Moxley’s team in the Lights Out Steel Cage match at Forbidden Door last year. He also teamed with Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta at All In Texas. Therefore, fans have been wondering if Gabe Kidd was officially a member of the Death Riders. However, this wasn’t confirmed until recently. Gabe Kidd has been out of action since April due to an injury. However, he made his return to NJPW and attacked Shota Umino moments after the latter won the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship at Dominion.
Gabe Kidd confirmed that he is part of Jon Moxley’s Death Riders faction
During a backstage segment following his return, Gabe Kidd confirmed that he is part of Jon Moxley’s Death Riders faction. He also noted that he returned to NJPW to save the Japanese promotion from going bankrupt. He even issued a challenge to Shota Umino.
“I am here as part of the best team in the world, the Death Riders, let’s get that very f**king clear. Just like we did in AEW, just like it needed f**king saving, I’m going to come here to save New Japan Pro-Wrestling from going bankrupt, because with c**ts like that as champions, I don’t think it’s going to last much longer.
“Getting a visa for me is difficult right now, they don’t want to let me in the country. That’s cool, I’ll wait. If it’s not ready by Forbidden Door, I will wait here until you arrive…
“I am here, I am back. Talking about, I have to check with doctors for clearance, I’m clearing myself. Whenever you’re ready, Shota, whenever you’re ready, it doesn’t matter to me.
“If I can’t get to Forbidden Door, I will be f**king waiting for you. That is mine, all of this is mine. I won’t be coming alone either.” [H/T WrestleTalk.com]
Gabe Kidd last competed in the ring at AEW Dynasty 2026 when he teamed with Clark Connors and David Finlay against The Conglomeration.
