AEW Rampage Will Have Special Start Time On Black Friday

The Friday after Thanksgiving in the United States will see AEW Rampage airing several hours earlier than normal.

AEW Rampage normally airs on the TNT Network in the US at 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. CT on Friday nights. However, there are some weeks when AEW shows like Dynamite on TBS and Rampage on TNT get pre-empted due to sporting events that air on those networks.

It has been reported that AEW Rampage will air at 4 p.m. ET on November 25th, which is known as Black Friday. That’s the day that where businesses put on their biggest sales of the year to encourage shopping for Christmas and other holidays in December. That episode of Rampage will be taped after AEW Dynamite at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago.

The reason for TNT not airing Rampage in its regular timeslot is that they are showing an NHL doubleheader on November 25th. The two games will see the Pittsburgh Penguins at the Philadelphia Flyers at 5:30 p.m. ET followed by the St. Louis Blues taking on the Tampa Bay Lightning at 8:00 p.m. ET. That is followed by a NHL on TNT postgame show. You can view the AEW Rampage change for November 25th on the TNT website.

In January 2022, AEW Dynamite was moved from TNT to TBS due to TNT acquiring the rights to the NHL along with the NBA, which they have had for decades. To avoid Dynamite being pre-empted often, it made more sense to move it to TBS.

This coming week is a big one for AEW as they present the Full Gear pay-per-view on Saturday, November 19th. Here’s the lineup so far.
