AEW On Verge Of Signing 2 International Stars
Tony Khan could be about to add two new signings to the AEW roster as he scours the international market for the very best talent.
Michael Oku launched himself onto the radars of many fans in February 2024 when he wrestled Will Ospreay in the star’s last match before joining AEW. However, Oku had been impressing on the independent scene for several years and even made a cameo at All In 2023.
On August 11th, the rising star was back in action with RevPro where challenged MJF for the AEW American Championship. Although he was unsuccessful, Oku again impressed while proving he could go toe-to-toe with one of the best in the world.
Oku’s valet Amira ended up involved in that action as MJF threatened to nail her with the Tiger Driver before Will Ospreay made a shock appearance to make the save.
And now it looks like AEW fans might be seeing a whole lot more of Michael Oku and Amira.
More Michael Oku, More Amira For AEW
Fightful Select has reported that Michael Oku and Amira are expected to work on AEW’s Dynamite in Cardiff, Wales as well as All In. However, sources in RevPro have claimed that both Oku and Amira are close to signing with Tony Khan’s company.
Michael Oku had confirmed talks had taken place with AEW and several talents involved with RevPro have noted that they hope the signings take place.
