AEW Make Major Broadcast Changes For Title Tuesday

Tony Khan AEW Dynamite

AEW has been given more airtime for the October 10th episode of Dynamite.

With WWE announcing that the episode of NXT that will be going head-to-head with AEW will be commercial-free for the first 30 minutes, Tony Khan has countered by revealing that the “Title Tuesday” special has also been granted that privilege by TBS. In a further update by Fightful Select, the October 10th Dynamite has also been granted a 10-minute overrun.

With the additional announcement of a buy-in show that will feature a major title match, fans of All Elite Wrestling will be treated to 2 hours and 40 minutes of action on October 10, the longest in the history of the programme.

AEW Granted Extension Following Network Issues

One reason why the flagship show has been granted additional time may have been due to repeated issues that have plagued the Wednesday night show in the previous weeks. Fans first started to notice audio issues on the September 27th broadcast, which was later confirmed to be an issue to those watching on TBS. The technical issues went one step further on October 4th as issues forced a segment involving Adam Cole and Roderick Strong to be repeated as fans could not hear it the first time.

Dynamite has loaded up the near 3-hour broadcast for the upcoming show to compete with the stacked NXT card that will be broadcast simultaneously. Notable major names that have been confirmed to appear on the October 10th broadcast include John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Paul Heyman and Asuka.
