Adam Page Gives Update After Dynamite Injury

Hangman Adam Page

Hangman Adam Page has broken his silence following the scary moment on Dynamite when his match was stopped against Jon Moxley.

Tuesday night saw a jam-packed Dynamite show take place in Cincinnati, Ohio with no less than four championships on the line. Toni Storm retained the Interim AEW Women’s World Championship as did Death Triangle with their Trios Championship.

Chris Jericho maintained his status as The Ocho as he defeated Dalton Castle to hang on to his ROH World Championship. In the night’s main event another title was on the line as hometown hero Jon Moxley defended the AEW World Championship against Adam Page.

Page took the fight to Moxley early on meeting him in the crowd during his entrance. The bloody battle soon ended up in the ring as Page looked to claw back the title he lost to CM Punk at Double Or Nothing in May. At one point, Moxley nailed Page with a clothesline that sent the cowboy inside out. A nasty landing for Page drew immediate attention from referee Paul Turner and he quickly signalled to the ringside doctor to check on the challenger.

The bell was soon rung with the official decision announced that the doctor had stopped the match and as a result, Moxley retained his title. AEW released a statement soon after confirming that Adam Page had suffered a concussion.

Now Adam Page has taken to social media to give the latest on his condition and his lunch and thanked a few people for their efforts:

“hey thanks everyone for being so nice, im doing alright and feeling good today. had a nice panini for lunch. thanks to paul, medical, mox, brandon, bj, etc, (insert introspective yet merciless quote about unfinished business here)”
