Xavier Woods has reacted to Big E’s retirement announcement.

Big E, real name Ettore Ewen, took to X to post a heartfelt message for his followers, where he discussed dealing with a host of injuries throughout his wrestling career.

Despite going through the physical adversities, he was thankful for being able to function normally and be healthy.

Ewen also thanked all the fans who had followed his in-ring journey.

The 39-year-old is a former WWE Champion, a title he won by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract on Bobby Lashley during the September 13, 2021, taping of Raw.

He held the gold for 110 days before losing to Brock Lesnar at Day 1 on January 1, 2022.

After Big E posted his retirement message, his former New Day stablemate, Xavier Woods, uploaded a response.

While fans might have expected it to be something sincere, it was anything but that.

In the video he uploaded, Woods can be seen laughing hysterically before saying, “Told ya,” and walking off.

Woods’ reaction is in reference to him and Kofi Kingston turning heel on the December 2, 2024, episode of the red brand, where they were celebrating the faction’s 10-year anniversary.

Woods and Kingston berated Big E before kicking him out of the group.

Xavier Woods Calls Himself A TNA Success Story

Xavier Woods is seemingly big on legacies, which is why he recently made a bold claim by labeling himself a TNA success story while rejecting AJ Styles.

He spoke to WWE personality Peter Rosenberg on the Cheap Heat podcast during the Royal Rumble weekend, where he discussed his early success before joining the Stamford-based promotion.

I’m so not to be pompous, but I’m the first success story from TNA to WWE. I’m the first one to find like long-term success from TNA. You’re pre Samoa Joe. Yeah. You’re pre AJ, pre Bobby.

I’m the one who came over and washed the stink off. I’m the one who came over and said TNA is a viable place. We have great talent. [H/T: SEScoops]

Xavier Woods competed in TNA under the name Consequences Creed from 2007 to 2010.
