Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Edges Closer To Rumored WrestleMania Return
An injured WWE star has taken the next step towards full recovery and their imminent in-ring return.
Seth Rollins was booted out of The Vision on the October 13 episode of Monday Night Raw after he gloated all evening about beating Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel and, most importantly, not needing his faction members to achieve goals.
The promo earlier in the night did not sit well with Bron Breakker, who, by the end of the night, speared Rollins out of his boots.
He then provided his stablemates, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman, the option to align with him or be against him. Reed then dragged Rollins and hit a Tsunami. Heyman, too, celebrated with Breakker and Reed.
While the betrayal came as a shock to viewers, it was later reported that The Visionary had suffered an injury at WWE Crown Jewel that would keep him out of action for an extended period.
Rollins then underwent shoulder surgery and has since been rehabilitating.
Ex-WWE Champion Seth Rollins Hits The Gym
Just 9 weeks away from WrestleMania 42, Seth Rollins was spotted returning to training.
Online videos show him working out in the gym. Fans were also happy to see him use his arms to full effect, indicating no visible discomfort.
Media reports have claimed that WWE is hoping that the 39-year-old achieves full functionality before the Showcase of the Immortals, allowing the creative team to add him to the card.
Elsewhere, Rollins’ now-nemesis, Bron Breakker, is out of action after having undergone hernia surgery recently. As of this moment, he is anything but ruled out; however, his absence is a setback nonetheless.
