A recently returned WWE star has apologised after losing his first match back.

On the March 1st edition of SmackDown, Xyon Quinn returned to action for the first time since May 2023. Unfortunately for Quinn, his opponent was the monstrous Bron Breakker. Breakker continued to impress in his second match on the blue brand, hitting Quinn with a devastating Spear as soon as the bell rang and picking up the victory in six seconds.

Quinn has now taken to social media to apologise to his supporters. In a short message, the star promised that he will “never give up.”

Sorry to all my supporters.. Just know that as long as I’m breathing, I’ll never give up. Til the end

Quinn first joined WWE when he signed a developmental contract. After a year of appearing at NXT live events, the star made his TV debut for the developmental brand in November 2019 in a losing effort against Dexter Lumis. His next appearance came on the April 24th, 2020, edition of SmackDown when he was defeated by Sheamus in under a minute.

Quinn soon became a fixture of NXT and Level Up where he took on the likes of Odyssey Jones, Oba Femi, and Eddy Thorpe. During the April 2023 draft, WWE announced that Quinn was one of a number of free agents who could appear on any brand. He made one appearance for Raw as part of a Battle Royale and then disappeared from TV until his ill-fated bout with Breakker.

WWE Plans For Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin Revealed

A recent report has shed light on WWE’s plans for Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin following their recent NXT Tag Team Title win. Seemingly, the pair have impressed officials enough that Corbin could be set to join Breakker on the main roster.
