WWE Plans For Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin Revealed Including Team Name

A new report suggests that WWE has a unique name for the Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin tag team in NXT.

The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament featured eight teams that were put together with the winners receiving an NXT Tag Team Title shot.

Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin are not a traditional tag team. They got together because they agreed they were both “a**holes” and even though they didn’t always get along, they were an effective team that won the Dusty Cup.

On the February 13th edition of WWE NXT, Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin became NXT Tag Team Champions when they defeated Tony D’Angelo & Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo in the main event. Breakker won the match for the team when he hit a Spear on Stacks for the pinfall win.

During his NXT career, Breakker has won the NXT Title twice while this was Corbin’s first title win in six years. Bron Breakker had an impressive showing in the Royal Rumble match and it’s expected that he’ll start on the main roster soon.

As fans of the NXT brand know, Breakker & Corbin have been calling themselves the “Wolfdogs” for several weeks. Breakker loves that name while Corbin does not, but the fans seem to enjoy it.

WWE May Keep Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin Together On Main Roster

It has been reported by Fightful Select that the Breakker & Corbin team has impressed officials in the company. The story that “there have been discussions about Corbin joining Breakker on the main roster once his callup is finalized.”

Recently on Raw & Smackdown, Breakker received contract offers from Raw GM Adam Pearce and Smackdown GM Nick Aldis about joining one of the brands on a full-time basis.

As for a team name, Fightful adds that WWE has discussed going with the name “Spear Of Days” as a team name rather than Wolfdogs. Bron has a very impressive Spear that he uses to win match while Corbin’s finisher is called “End of Days” so that’s where the name comes from.
