“Used A Towel To Choke Me” – WWE Star Michin Details Shocking Incident With Ex-Boyfriend

WWE star Michin has revealed a heartbreaking incident in her life.

Michin is currently one of the most beloved stars on the WWE roster. She has been with the sports entertainment juggernaut for a long time now. During her time on the main roster, Michin was involved in a long feud with Chelsea Green over the Women’s United States Championship.

Now, Michin is involved in a faction with Jade Cargill and B-Fab on WWE SmackDown. As a result, the former Mia Yim is regularly featured on the blue brand. Although things are finally looking up for her, that wasn’t always the case a few years ago when she went through an abusive relationship.

Michin recalled a terrible incident with her ex-boyfriend that led her to file a restraining order

During a recent appearance on What’s Your Story? with Stephanie McMahon, Michin said that she was once locked in a closet by her ex-boyfriend. However, she feared that her parents would get a phone call about her d**th if she didn’t get out. Hence, she became overcome with rage, and she finally broke out of the closet and went after her boyfriend at the time. He overpowered her and used a towel to choke her.

“I got locked in a closet, and so the closet didn’t have a lock on it, so I didn’t know how he, I think he put something in front of the door or something, but like I got locked in a closet, and I was able to break my way out of it and reactively, like, in the closet, in my head, and I didn’t have my phone, so in the closet, what would be in my head was, if I don’t get out of here, my parents are getting a phone call that I’m d**d. And immediate rage,  because it’s like, I refuse to give him the power to hurt my parents. Like, you can hurt me, but I’m very big on, don’t hurt the people that I love. So I just got, like, blacked out, broke out of the closet, and once I saw him, I just like, went after him, but of course, he, like, overpowered me, and then used a towel to choke me, and then after that happened….”

Stephanie McMahon asked her if she lost consciousness after being choked with a towel. Michin replied that she was able to escape from him and then filed a restraining order against him.

“No, I fought back because he was on top of me, and like, he mounted my chest area. I couldn’t really move aside from my hands, which the only thing I could grab. So desperation, I did that, and then he, of course, ‘how dare you, like, how could you do that?’ And that’s f**ked up. I was like, ‘bro. ok.’ And after that incident, that’s when I finally filed the restraining order and was able to get out.”

It’s good that Michin was able to get out of such an abusive relationship.
