WWE star Michin reveals that she was forced to end her friendship with AEW star Shelton Benjamin.

Michin and Shelton Benjamin share a very close bond, like brother and sister. They have known each other for two decades and are like family to one another.

In a new interview on What’s Your Story with Stephanie McMahon, the female SmackDown star revealed that she was in an abusive relationship with her ex-boyfriend.

She shared that she was a victim of domestic violence in her past relationship, which led to her using alcohol to cope before later seeking therapy to overcome it.

“What led me go into therapy was it was a violent relationship and it was hard because like, it’s to the point now it’s been long enough and I’ve been doing therapy long enough where like everything happens for a reason. I learned a lot from it and I forgive everybody.

While sharing more details about her heartbreaking past, Michin revealed that her ex-boyfriend had even forced her to cut ties with Shelton Benjamin.

Michin: With Shelton, I had to cut him off, like I couldn’t be friends with him anymore.

Stephanie: Because of the relationship, you mean?

Michin: Yes.

Stephanie: So it was dictated to you to not be friends with him.

Michin revealed that Benjamin acted as her support system during her abusive relationship, even though he wasn’t physically present with her at all times.
