This WWE star just dropped a huge bombshell regarding his possible exit from the company and when he’ll do it.

WWE shocked the world last Friday on SmackDown when it was revealed that the mystery caller who has been reminding Randy Orton of who he really is and unleashing his dark side heading into his WWE Championship match with Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 42 was former commentator Pat McAfee.

The NFL star was an absurd choice, to say the least, as fans had heard Randy Orton hint at the mystery caller’s identity a few weeks ago on Raw, saying “wrestling has more than one royal family.” Now that the mystery caller is Pat McAfee, fans have been left befuddled as he does not belong to any wrestling royal family and was, in fact, only a part-time commentator in the business.

Fans and critics initially slammed WWE creative for the controversial choice. However, it was later revealed that McAfee was injected into Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton’s feud by none other than Ari Emanuel, the CEO of the TKO group, WWE’s parent company. Emanuel has reportedly done this by bypassing WWE creative and getting McAfee, who has celebrity status, involved to boost ticket sales and generate buzz for WrestleMania 42.

Now McAfee has posted on X with a catch saying he will say goodbye to wrestling if Randy Orton loses his match at WrestleMania 42.

Pat McAfee Says He will Quit Wrestling if Randy Orton Were To Lose At WWE WrestleMania 42

Even though McAfee says in his latest post on X that he will be gone from wrestling forever if Randy Orton loses at WrestleMania 42, he got no sympathy from the WWE fans in the comments section.

McAfee reiterates the sentiments he shared during his promo on SmackDown this past Friday by saying that Randy Orton winning his 15th World Title at WrestleMania 42 would “save the business” from the bad shape it is in due to current Champion Cody Rhodes, according to McAfee.

The night that’ll live on in documentaries and wrestling folklore FOREVER The night that @RandyOrton
wins his 15th WORLD TITLE and in doing so SAVES THE BUSINESS And if he doesn’t… I’ll be GONE from wrestling FOREVER Come join us in LAS VEGAS for a ONCE IN A CENTURY evening

WrestleMania 42 takes place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18th and 19th.
