The current Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan opened up on whether she has experienced any nerves throughout her WWE career.

Liv Morgan has been wrestling in the WWE since 2015, and she never had any pro wrestling experience beforehand. After struggling on the main roster for several years, Morgan got her big moment in 2022, when she won the women’s Money in the Bank and went on to capture the Women’s title later as well.

She continued her rise and defeated Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam 2024 to win the Women’s World title and also joined the Judgment Day faction. Liv is one of the top stars in WWE’s women’s division right now and is also the current Women’s World Champion. Meanwhile, Morgan made a personal revelation about experiencing nerves during her time in the Stamford-based promotion.

Liv Morgan confessed that a top WWE star has seen her gag and spit before her matches

Liv Morgan made an appearance on JaackMaate’s Happy Hour podcast alongside her onscreen love interest and top WWE star, Dominik Mysterio, where they talked about experiencing nerves. Dominik has been associated with wrestling since he was a kid, as he was a part of the storyline between Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero back in 2005.

Speaking on whether he experienced any nerves, Dominik admitted that he hated the attention on him when he was a kid:

I don’t think that’s necessarily fair to say. When I was a kid, I just didn’t understand it.”

I hated it. Not wrestling, I loved wrestling. I loved watching it. I just didn’t enjoy the attention on me.”

Liv Morgan also shared her experience of having nerves in WWE, revealing Dominik has seen her throw up and gag before her matches:

Oh yeah, I’ve had the nerves. Dominik’s seen me throw up before my matches; he’s seen me gag before my matches, spitting.”

Liv also revealed that she gets anxious and nervous because she wants to do a good job:

I think I just want to do a good job ultimately. I just wanna go out there and do my best. And I think the thought of not doing my best makes me nervous, and it gives me a little bit of anxiety. Also, there’s so much excitement in that; it’s not all bad. I just want to make sure I deliver.”

Meanwhile, Liv Morgan is set to defend her Women’s World title against Iyo Sky at SummerSlam 2026.
