Liv Morgan’s Streak Ends At WWE Night Of Champions
Liv Morgan suffered a major setback at WWE Night of Champions.
The Judgment Day member and IYO SKY battled tonight at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the Queen of the Ring crown and a world title shot at SummerSlam.
Ahead of the show, Morgan sat down for an interview with Jackie Redmond, where she pointed out her history with SKY, noting that the Japanese star had never beaten her in one-on-one competition.
Byron Saxton also spoke with SKY about that, revealing on the Night of Champions Countdown that the Genius of the Sky was not concerned about Morgan’s winning streak against her. Instead, she had been training and adding more moves to her arsenal in preparation for the match.
IYO SKY Finally Beats Liv Morgan
Ahead of her match with IYO SKY, Liv Morgan interrupted Danhausen’s promo. She confronted him about the Judgement Days’ money, which he fled with a few weeks earlier, demanding that he return it. The former AEW star instead cursed her, prompting Morgan slapping him across the face.
Danhausen’s curse seemed to have worked as Morgan’s winning streak against SKY ended tonight. Despite suffering an injury during the match, The Genius of the Sky emerged victorious to become the new Queen of the Ring.
After the match, SKY put Morgan on notice, announcing that she was challenging her for the Women’s World Championship at this year’s SummerSlam.
