WWE Star Asked Becky Lynch To Yell At Her After Ruining Their Match
WWE Unreal Season 2 Episode 5 focuses on WWE SummerSlam 2025, and one of the main discussions is around the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship match between Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria.
It so happens that after Backstage, Valkyria and Lynch were expecting to put up a similar performance at The Biggest Party of the Summer. Unfortunately, that is not what happened.
There were some unfortunate moments from the show, especially with a zip tie. Valkyria’s hands slipped out of the zip ties, and she put her hand back in, hoping no one saw, but cameras did. Also, when she was supposed to have the zip tie off, she couldn’t and had to go under the ring to have someone cut it open.

On WWE Unreal, The Man spoke about the disappointment she felt after the match. However, she revealed that it was Lyra Valkyria who was extremely upset with herself and wanted Becky Lynch to yell at her, but the two-time Women’s Intercontinental Champion refused to do so.
She was very upset with herself. And she just started apologizing to me. And I was like, “It’s fine”. Like, “it’s just wrestling”. And then she was like, “No, it’s not fine. I need you to yell at me.” And I was like, “No, I am never going to be upset because a wrestling move or moves don’t go our way.”
Becky Lynch further praised Lyra Valkyria for having the mindset for progress, but also acknowledged that the mindset could be detrimental to mental health.
She’s great. She cares. But also, that mindset is why she is so great. That’s why she is going to continue to be great. That’s why she is going to get better because she doesn’t want the kid gloves. She wants to be told. That’s both a great and terrible mindset. Great for progress. Terrible for mindset. And I know this, I am this.
