Two Huge Championship Matches Announced For 2/13 WWE SmackDown

There are two big championship matches set for the February 13th edition of WWE SmackDown.

Jade Cargill has been the WWE Women’s Champion since beating Tiffany Stratton for the title on the November 1st, 2025 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Since then, Cargill hasn’t defended her title once on television, although she has defended it on non-televised events.

Many fans have been complaining about Cargill’s lack of title defenses over the last three months, but the reality is it’s not up to her to book the matches. That’s up to the WWE creative team, and in storylines, it’s up to SmackDown GM Nick Aldis.

On SmackDown in Charlotte, Cargill teamed up with Jordynne Grace to beat Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan when Grace got a rollup pin on Raquel. Grace and Cargill didn’t get along in the match, and it continued backstage as well.

SmackDown GM Nick Aldis announced that on the February 13th edition of SmackDown, Jade Cargill will finally defend the WWE Women’s Title against Jordynne Grace. Cargill wasn’t happy about it.

Rhea Ripley & Iyo Sky Are Fighting WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles were on this line on SmackDown in Charlotte as Rhea Ripley & Iyo Sky faced off against Giulia & Kiana James. While Giulia and James put up a fight, the talented team of Ripley and Sky were too much as Ripley hit a Riptide and Sky followed up with Over the Moonsault to get the win.

Later in the show, Nia Jax and Lash Legend approached Ripley and Sky while claiming that Ripley and Sky had ducked them enough. Jax said she’d talk to GM Aldis about getting a title match.

It was announced that Ripley and Sky will defend their Women’s Tag Team Titles on the February 13th SmackDown against Jax and Legend as Ripley and Sky continue to prove they are willing to face any team at any time.
