WWE Raw Rumors Including Drew McIntyre Speculation
The next episode of WWE Monday Night Raw features a match with a mystery partner while there is an update on when Drew McIntyre might return.
Tonight’s episode of WWE Raw takes place from the GIANT Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. It’s the last Raw before WWE Night of Champions this Saturday, May 27th from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
One of the big matches being advertised for tonight’s Raw will see the WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn and a mystery partner team up against the Imperium trio of Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER, Giovanni Vinci & Ludwig Kaiser. One name that could be a partner is Drew McIntyre, but there could be another wrestler taking the spot.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer spoke about how Drew McIntyre is ready to come back to WWE for the first time since his WrestleMania 39 match.
“I’ve seen some people speculate that the mystery partner will be Drew McIntyre. It would make sense. Right now, the last I heard, which was just a couple of days ago, was that he’s just ready for, you know, just waiting for him and creative to agree on the situation that, you know, the injury situation’s pretty much, I mean, I can’t say 100% that it’s cleared up today but I was told that the basic gist is that he’s ready to come back.”
“I wasn’t told he’s ready to come back Monday. I’ve just been told that he’s ready to come back. Close, you know, soon enough.”
According to a tweet from WRKD Wrestling, the partner for Owens & Zayn could be Shinsuke Nakamura since they said it’s a “stylish king” and Nakamura is known as the “King of Strong Style” in WWE.
