WWE Raw Potential Spoilers Ahead Of May 29th Episode
There are some potential WWE Monday Night Raw spoilers as news comes out about what the company has planned for the post-Night of Champions episode of Raw.
At WWE Night of Champions this past Saturday, Seth “Freakin” Rollins beat AJ Styles to become the brand new World Heavyweight Champion on the Raw brand.
Tonight’s Raw takes place at the MVP Arena in Albany, New York on the Memorial Day holiday. While WWE oftentimes advertises a lot of things on Raw, they aren’t doing so this week as of this writing.
Thankfully, the WRKD Wrestling Twitter account has some information about what WWE has planned.
Notes ahead of tonight’s #WWERaw:
– A superstar’s frenemy returns
– Cody Rhodes speaks his mind
– KO/Zayn get judgmental
– Trish/Zoey see Becky
– Gunther’s next opponent is brovealed
– WHC Seth Rollins sets up his next story
The “superstar’s frenemy” is a reference to Tommaso Ciampa returning from his lengthy absence. This was reported earlier in the day.
Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn “get judgmental” is a reference to The Judgment Day. Whether that means a title feud for KO & Sami’s Tag Team Titles or simply a match on Raw isn’t known right now.
As for GUNTHER, the clue there makes it clear that GUNTHER’s next Intercontinental Title challenger will be the “bro” Matt Riddle.
We will also likely hear from Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes and Trish/Stratus based on what is mentioned above.
It has also been mentioned by WWE that the Money in the Bank qualifying matches will begin as well to see who qualifies for the Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank matches on July 1st at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event in London, England.
One match that is official is the Fatal 4-Way Women’s Tag Team Title match to crown new Women’s Tag Team Champions. The four teams in the match are Raquel Rodriguez & Shotzi, Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler, Bayley & IYO SKY and Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville.
