WWE News: Matches and Segments Announced for Next Week’s Raw, NXT and Smackdown

TJR Wrestling

There are several things that WWE has advertised for their television shows next week. Most of them were promoted on the WWE Backstage show that aired on Fox Sports 1 after Smackdown last night.

Monday’s edition of Raw on October 28 takes place at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis and this is what WWE has advertised so far:

* Becky Lynch vs. Kairi Sane in a non-title match.

* Seth Rollins vs. Erick Rowan in a Falls Count Anywhere match. This is not for Seth’s Universal Title.

* There will also be a “Divorce Court” segment instead of a King’s Court and it will be hosted by Jerry Lawler. The segment will feature the trouble married couple Rusev and Lana, who may be joined by “boyfriend” Bobby Lashley as well.

That’s all for now with more matches likely to be announced by Monday.

As I do most weeks, I will write out some predictions for those matches and segment on Monday morning along with whatever else WWE may advertise for the show.

Wednesday’s edition of WWE NXT on October 30 takes place at Full Sail University in Orlando as usual.

The matches they have announced are:

* WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles: Kabuki Warriors vs. Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai

* Tyler Bate vs. Cameron Grimes

* Io Shirai vs. Candice LeRae

Our NXT writer Jim Kress will have his NXT review up on Thursday morning. Thank you Jim for doing a great job with those recaps.

The WWE Crown Jewel event will take place on WWE Network on Thursday, October 31 in Saudi Arabia. It has a start time of 1pmET on WWE Network. I will have an in-depth preview and predictions of the show likely on Wednesday morning. It might be Tuesday. Here’s the lineup.

* WWE Championship: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Cain Velasquez

* Falls Count Anywhere Match for the Universal Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt – This match “can’t be stopped for any reason.”

* Braun Strowman vs. Tyson Fury

* Five on Five Tag Team Match: Team Hulk Hogan (Roman Reigns, Rusev, Ricochet, Ali and Shorty G) vs. Team Ric Flair (Randy Orton, Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley, Shinsuke Nakamura and Drew McIntyre)

* Tag Team Turmoil Match: The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods), Raw Tag Team Champions Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder), The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar), Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins, Heavy Machinery (Tucker and Otis), Lucha House Party (Kalisto, Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado), The OC (AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson), and The B Team (Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel)

* Cesaro vs. Mansoor

* 20-Man Battle Royal

WWE Crown Jewel emanates from the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, streaming live Thursday, Oct. 31 at 1 p.m. ET / 8 AST on WWE Network. The WWE Crown Jewel Kickoff begins at 12 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. AST on WWE Network, WWE.com, the WWE App, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Twitch.

The Smackdown crew that’s wrestling at Crown Jewel will jump on a chartered WWE plane and head to Buffalo, New York for next week’s Smackdown on November 1 in Buffalo, New York. They have announced several matches, plus a talk show segment.

Here’s what to expect:

* Roman Reigns vs. Baron Corbin

* The Revival defend the Smackdown Tag Team Titles vs. The New Day (even though New Day lost on Smackdown this week)

* Bayley, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville vs. Nikki Cross, Carmella and Dana Brooke

* Miz TV with Bray Wyatt as the guest

As I do most weeks, I will write out some predictions for those matches and segment on Friday morning along with whatever else WWE may advertise for the show.
